Appointments

When we receive approval to reopen, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. We will be contacting our current clients to schedule appointments prior to opening the schedule to the general public. Once we have scheduled these clients, we will reopen online booking.

We are unable to accept walk-ins so please make your appointment only by calling or texting to (512) 944-5580 or email (hotblinks@gmail.com).

Pricing

We are offering a reduced rate for full sets to our current clients for the month of May and June. As always, you are welcome to start with the classic set and upgrade to a mixed or volume fill at your next appointment. As you can imagine, we have had to increase our prices due to the extra costs for PPE and specialized cleaning supplies, as well as the increase in our service times to allow for additional cleaning. We will charge 100% of the service for no-shows and 50% of the service for late cancels. Your appointment will be marked as no-show and charged if we cannot reach you within 20 minutes of your scheduled appointment.

Appointment Arrival

When you arrive for your appointment, please call or text us. We no longer have a waiting area in the salon. When your stylist has completed her sanitation and the client before you has left, we will call or text you to let you know you can come inside. The door will be locked to avoid any accidental entrance. Please be on time for your appointment. 

In addition, if you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, please schedule your appointment for at least 14 days from the time of your exposure. If you develop symptoms during that time, please get in touch and we’ll reschedule your appointment.

During Appointments

We are super-excited to catch up with you, but we need to reduce the amount of droplets in the air. So, we will not be talking during the lash appointment. The consultation and aftercare conversation will take place beforeyou lay down. 

Appointment times will be increased to include artistry and sanitation after your appointment. Please be on time, or it may cut into the amount of lashes we can apply.

Masks

Please wear a face mask to your appointment. Your face mask will be worn during the entire service. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide services to anyone who is not wearing a face mask. If you forget your mask, you may purchase a disposable one for $2. 

What to Bring/Wear

Please plan to have your hair secured in a ponytail or held back with a headband. Please also limit any belongings that you bring with you—perhaps, to your phone, keys and a form of payment (rather than your handbag). Please do not bring any food or drinks inside.

What to Expect

When you enter the salon, we will escort you to the sanitation station. There, we will take your temperature, have you sanitize your hands, fill out some paperwork, put on booties to cover your shoes, and apply a hair covering. You will sanitize your hands again and your stylist will then escort you to a room for your service(s).

Guests

Please do not bring any extra guests with you and please do not bring children to your appointment.

Checking Out

As much as possible, we would like to have a contactless checkout process. When booking your appointment, we will make sure that your card on file is the one you’d like to use to pay for your service. We will be unable to accept cash or checks to pay for your service.

We will place a piece of tape away from the reception desk for clients to stand to prebook their next appointments. You may also call us after your appointment is over to book the following one!

Our desk staff will sanitize the door after every client leaves.

Gratuities

For cash gratuities, we will have a ballot box, envelopes, and pens available at the reception desk.  You will write the artist’s name the gratuity belongs to on the outside of the envelope and place it inside the ballot box. At the end of the day, we will have the staff sort the cash gratuities with gloves and sanitizer.

PPE

The stylist and front desk staff will wear masks, gloves, and booties on their shoes. We will wear lab coats, as well.

We are also placing new HEPA air purifiers throughout the salon. 

Cleaning procedures

As licensed professionals, we are trained in preventing the spread of infectious diseases as required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. We have always had glowing inspections and a super-clean facility. During these times, however, we are heavily increasing our cleaning procedures and protocols to several times per day.
